If you are using an Android device with multiple profiles, take care of it, that the configuration on this page is done in the same profile which the fulfillment application is installed.

You need to configure one profile per used fulfillmenttools application in DataWedge (e.g. Operations and Inventory).

Activate Hardware Scanner

Zebra devices with hardware scanners have a app called DataWedge which is responsible for connecting the hardware scanner to our apps.

  1. Select DataWedge from the app drawer

  2. Tap on the 3-dot-menu in the top right corner

  3. Select “New Profile”

  4. Enter a profile name (e.g. fulfillmenttoolsapp if you use the fulfillment app or inventoryapp if you use the inventory app)

  5. Tap on “Connected Apps”

  6. Top on the 3-dot-menu in the top right corner and select “New Application/Activity”

  7. Select com.ocfulfillment.fulfillmentapp if you want to configure for the fulfillment app or com.ocfulfillment.inventoryapp if you configure the inventory app

  8. Select “*” (the top in the list)

  9. Scroll to “Intent-Output”

  10. Check the checkbox on “Enabled”

  11. Enter com.ocfulfillment.fulfillmentapp.ACTION for the fulfillmentapp or com.ocfulfillment.inventoryapp.ACTION for the inventory app

  12. Select “Broadcast intent” in “Intent delivery”
