Packing

This page refers to the packing process, allowing users to create one or more packages.

Before you can use our packing process, please ensure that you have at least one packingContainerType configured on your tenant. Without this, the new packing process will not be able to function. More information about that can be found here.

Pack items into packages

When you selected a packing task you'd like to work on, select at least one item from the packing list and create a new package.

The newly created package is then displayed in the packing overview. You can continue packing additional items into the same package or create a new one.

Once everything is packed, you can finish the packing task and proceed to printing.

Unpack items

It is possible that items need to be unpacked from a package. That is easily done in our process.

Just open the package overview, reduce the number of items you want to unpack, and save your changes. The unpacked items will be automatically returned to the list of items that need to be packed. You can then continue packing those items into new packages or existing ones.

If you create a package and then remove items (setting the item count to zero), resulting in an empty package, that empty package will be deleted when the packing task is finished.

FAQ

This new packing is nice but why do I have to do so many steps now? I rarely need more than one package per order.

Our new packing process is designed to be flexible and efficient for all use cases, including those where only one package is needed.

If you typically send out just one package per customer, you can simplify the process by selecting all items at once and creating a single package. This reduces the process to just two clicks, ensuring that it remains quick and efficient even with the new steps.
