Prices
Introduction
Users can define different types of prices in the platform. A general price can be defined in the listing. Additionally, a shop price can be defined in the attributes of the listing or the order. A sales price can be defined in the listing attributes of the selling facility's listing.
General price
A general price can be defined at the root level of the listing, facilitating scenarios where differentiation between price types is unnecessary.
Shop price
The price for which articles are sold to the end customer is termed the shop price. It can be stored at the listing level within the attributes or sent in the order's article attributes. Typically, only managed facilities will have a shop price configured.
The shop price is displayed in the Backoffice facility inventory detail view in the "Article details" container.
Sales price
The sales price is the amount at which articles are sold to other facilities in the network and is always stored by the facility selling the articles. The sales price can be stored on listing level in the listing attributes. It can be configured for all facility types, although primarily supplier facilities will configure a sales price.
The sales price is displayed in the Backoffice facility inventory detail view in the "Sales price" container, visible in the selling facility's view.
Purchase price
General
The purchase price refers to the price at which articles are acquired from other facilities within the network. It is not specifically stored in the platform but is contingent upon the facility from which an article is sourced.
The purchase price container appears within the Backoffice facility listing view of the purchasing facility. Only prices pertinent to the purchasing facility are displayed.
Discounted purchase price
Discounts can be applied to the purchase price of an article and are defined by the selling facility. The selling facility can decide to set a discount for specific:
purchasing facilities
purchasing facility groups
article categories
