In order to activate the Inventory app, it must be connected with a tenant. This can be done via the Backoffice in the Facility View or Network View under Settings.

On the settings page you will find a section called “Add mobile device”. If expanded, this section reveals a QR-code which contains a tenant specific ID that allows you to connect various mobile devices to your environment.

The QR-code contains following keys from the tenant's Google Project settings:

  • Firebase ProjectId

  • Firebase WebApiKey

  • Firebase AppId

  • Firebase AppIdDebug

  • Tenant specific backend API URL

After downloading the Inventory app from the Google Play Store, please follow these steps:

  1. Click “Activate app” on the welcome screen.

  2. Please grant access to your camera. Access is required to scan the QR code with all tenant specific information.

  3. Scan the QR-Code shown in the settings page our your tenant's backoffice.

  4. Once the QR code has been scanned, the connection is made and you are redirected to the login prompt.

  5. Login with the credentials that you are using already for logging into the Backoffice.

If you are using an expired version of the app, you will see a screen that informs you about the version mismatch and asks you to update the app via the Google Play Store.

How to switch languages in the Inventory App?
  1. Press three dot menu in upper right corner of the overview screen.

  2. Select the language you would like to work with. Please note that changing the language can take a few seconds.

How to change facilities in the Inventory app?

  1. Press three dot menu in upper right corner of the overview screen.

  2. Select change facility.

  3. Select the facility that you would like to switch to.
