# Inventory

{% hint style="info" %}
This article focuses on using Backoffice. For information on APIs and customizations, see the [Global Inventory Hub](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub.md) section.
{% endhint %}

The stock overview provides a summary of all articles in the network and their respective stock. By default, the system sorts articles by `tenantArticleId`.

#### Customization

* Table columns can be rearranged or stuck to either side. This action is available via the three-dot menu in each column header.
* Table columns can be shown or hidden using the edit button located at the right end of the table. The reset button restores the visibility of all columns and reverts the table to its original sorting order. Some columns are hidden by default.

#### Search and filters

The search allows users to find articles by their `title` or `ID`.

The following filters are available:

* **Facility country**: Shows stock for articles with [listings](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing) in facilities within the filtered country.
* **Facility type**: Shows stock for articles with [listings](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing) in facilities with the filtered [facility type](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/core/facilities).
* **Facility**: Shows stock for articles with [listings](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing) in the filtered facilities.
* **Listing status**: Shows stock for articles with active or inactive [listings](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing).
* **Listing out of stock behaviour**: Shows stock for articles with [listings](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing) that are pre-orderable, backorderable, or restockable. See [Listing out of stock behaviour](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/listing#out-of-stock-configuration) for more information.
* **Article:** Shows stock for the filtered articles.

#### Stock availability

The table provides information on the [stock availability](https://docs.fulfillmenttools.com/documentation/products/inventory-management/stock/stock-availability) of the articles within the network.

* **On Hand:** The total amount of stock that is physically present in a facility.
* **Available on Stock (AOS):** The total stock reduced by reservations, blocked stock, and safety stock. In detail, this covers all stock that is `ACCESSIBLE` and `PICKABLE`, has not yet reached its `availableUntil` date, and is reduced by reservations, blocked stock, and safety stock.
* **Available for Picking (AFP):** Pickable stock reduced by reservations, blocked stock, and safety stock, which is used for incoming orders. This covers all stock that is `ACCESSIBLE` and `PICKABLE`, is placed in a pickable location, and has not yet reached its `availableUntil` date.
* **Expected:** The amount of stock that is expected to arrive or be produced, based on deliveries of goods, production, or transfers from other facilities. It is communicated via the [inbound process](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/inbound-process.md) and is visible in the stock overview. Once a purchase order is created, the system can consider its expected stock in the shop [availability](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/stock/stock-availability.md).
* **Reserved:** The sum of reservations on stock, expected stock, and over-reservations. This value shows the number of [reservations](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/reservations.md) accepted for the item in the facility, including reservations for all orders assigned to the facility for fulfillment and reservations on [expected stock](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/stock/stock-availability.md#creation-and-management-of-expected-stock) that has not yet arrived.
* **Safety Stock:** Stock held back for offline sales to ensure online sales do not cannibalize them. If the safety stock level is reached within a facility, the system no longer considers that facility for order routing. Safety stock can be configured on the stock detail view by clicking the three-dot menu on the right. For more information, refer to [Safety Stock](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/stock/stock-availability.md).
* **Blocked:** Stock that is not accessible for sale because it is stored on locked locations. A location or stock is considered locked if it does not have the accessible trait. Stock might be blocked due to events like water damage or infestation. For more information, refer to the [Inventory traits article](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/inventory-traits.md).
* **Not Available:** Includes stock that is blocked or that is held back for offline sales as [safety stock](/documentation/by-pillar/global-inventory-hub/stock/stock-availability.md). Clicking on the value opens a modal with more details.
